Setshifting is a design game not entirely dissimilar to card mashups. However in setshifting the idea is to convert a card's mechanic and flavor to that of a different set/block than the one it originally was in.

Colorshifting is close to the planeshifted cards of Planar Chaos, but more in the line of Morphling vs. Torchling and Akroma, Angel of Wrath vs. Akroma, Angel of Fury.

Creature – Dragon
Devour 2 (As this enters the battlefield, you may sacrifice any number of creatures. This creature enters the battlefield with twice that many +1/+1 counters on it.)
Flying
When Hellkite Ruinator enters the battlefield, it deals damage to target creature or playe equal to the number of +1/+1 counters on itr.

Sorcery
Destroy target creature you don't control.
Overload {7}{b}{b}{b} (If you cast this spell for its overload cost, replace all instances of "target" with "each".)
"The miasmic fumes were supposed to be harmlessly expelled into the city... but somehow it got into the heating vents of every household in District six." -Jovek, Wojek Enforcer.

Instant
Put a +1/+1 on target creature you control.
Overload {3}{g} (If you cast this spell for its overload cost, replace all instances of "target" with "each".)
"The Simic is very impressed by both the mode and the speed in which the experiment was executed. We expect results by sunrise."

On Spreading Bogs:

Reminds me somewhat of Storm Cauldron.

On Spreading Bogs:

Yeah, I have no idea what I was thinking back then. It's kind of crazy how it can completely shut down certain mana hungry decks. But that's far from unfair (possibly too cheap, but I honestly don't what a good cost for this card is, so I couldn't say really.)

On Spreading Bogs:

This doesn't overwrite the lands' preexisting abilities anymore than Chromatic Lantern.

On Spreading Bogs:

Since when is "All lands have [tap ability]" any different from "All creatures have haste"?? This enchantment doesn't turn lands into swamps.

On Spreading Bogs:

"In addition to their other abilities..."? Because this card locks out all non-black decks, otherwise.

On Edgy Pyromancer:

"Finishing move" if you've already dealt 10 damage. I guess it's not bad in an aggro red deck as a way to deal the last 4 to the face. There's already Land's Edge, Seismic Assault and Lightning Storm in this kind of space.

On Edgy Pyromancer:

Annnd now possibly a bit too scary. (Turn 2 or 3, discard 5 or 6 lands for a finishing move.) Though I guess a cost of {2} doesn't make it much less possible.

On Edgy Pyromancer:

Good call! Normally I wouldn't change the design, because I own to my errors, but this one is egregious enough (and the thread hasn't had a new answer posted at MTGS) that I will edit.

On Edgy Pyromancer:

Spellshaper: Landshock!

The "Any player may" is a bit of a kick in the teeth given it's got a coloured cost.
