That's not exactly how X works :S

I think I would generally play with an empty board and pull out some absurdly high costed creature with an immensely powerful ETB and/or death trigger. Like hmmm, Hypnox stacking the order which results the opponent losing their hand permanently. Ashen Rider would be a double exile-vindicate which is nice. Prolly breaks Protean Hulk the way Flash did, no? There are prolly countless abusive stuff like that.

This seems to exhibit the main reason players don't get cheap instant speed discard - it locks down your draw. And this costs them life while you do it. Needs upcosting a bit.
