there was a reason fateseal was discontinued in MTG, and that's because it's 1) much stronger than it seems at first glance, and 2) very feel bad to play against. in small quantities or mythics it should be good, but repeatable and multiple effects in common are bad. I may be wrong, but please keep an eye out when you playtest these.
Just some random thoughts: - The legendaries in general have good ideas, but are each a bit too crowded, suffering from too many keywords. - Does the flip side have an equip cost? Can you flavorfully allow shardblades to be attached to other creatures?
Seems a bit undercosted for white. only cards with these stats are Colossodon Yearling in green, and multicolor cards.
Hi guys, nice set. I'll run through the cards and put comments as I see them. I won't have the vision of the entire set so I may question some design decisions that have a plan. It also assumes that this is a set that follows normal MTG design principles. (limited and constructed)
That would be excellent. One keyword from each color.
Probably, as Lightning Bolt and friends are very prevalent everywhere, but 4-damage burn spells aren't nearly as common. Perhaps a 2/3 deathtouch and lifelink?
Fascinating concept. Nice and flavorful. I like it. Not sure he should have 4 toughness though. Would changing him to a 2/3 make him too weak for the cost?
The mirrored abilities show that he needs the antidote to his poison for an assassination attempt and that his opponents can benefit from the antidote as well if they eat it. What do you think?
