Warding Shimmer + Chalice of Death
All your creatures have hexproof. And it's animatable (and then also itself impossible to remove) as a 3/3.
And the flip side of a lifegain artifact, giving you a way to win by dealing damage.
So... both are kinda mode changey. "Everything else, then everything" vs "Flip to be the opposite".
The first one changes just by paying it; the second one changes once the first mode has done its job.
Hmm, there's soemthing there. Hexproof but it changes when you do hit it. But, well, while from a game pov I like it - that's a downside for the player using it, so why would you?
So now I'm thinking imperfect hexproof-piercing. That feels like it should work. And this is now a subtle downy-upside; since you can use it to save your own creatures back to hand. Name is... terrible. Cost wants to be pretty high.
Funky idea. Bypass hexproof (and also bypass target-in-advance) but work less well on hexproof things (but just as well as normal on target-in-advance stuff like Grim Poppet or Mother of Runes).
Yup; it's "Hexproof is only a bit proof against this".
I didn't consider other means of avoiding it (Giant Growth, protection) so not unexpected they're unchanged.
