Two card win with Circu, Dimir Lobotomist.

I'm not quite happy with is though. The language doesn't quite seem natural, and it's a bit fiddly to actually make it matter (two four-cost card combo is not that startling in eternal formats).

Never mind Circu, how about Lava Spike? (Or Bump in the Night to stay on-colour.)

You definitely can't exile players :) I originally had an "except players clause" which if anything played up the "this must target an object (but not)" effect, but decided it was clearer without.

However, I still screwed up. I was sure I'd seen "exile your library" or "exile target player's library" but now I check, the examples are all "exile all cards from..." which makes sense.

But that makes it harder to matter if a card targets a library.

I was considering something like, choose a target or opponent chooses a target, and have one of these effects, where it was broken if you could avoid any of the effects, but it didn't really come together.

Aww! Circu, reprinted 13 years later, lost his weird templating and removes most of the reason for this card existing. Such is life when you try to hack around edge cases of the rules.
