Earthbind but more so? Seems perfectly reasonable power level, anyway.
It seems off because flying hate is a green thing. Red doesn't need in any way a card that says "target creature loses flying". Plus this is probably worse than Flame Slash 90% of the times.
Won't the aura fall off immediately for being attached to an illegal object, since the creature won't have flying? I think the best bet it's just enchant creature, for mechanical and power reasons.
The card is meant for an answer to fliers in limited. It's not supposed to be a Flame Slash; it's supposed to be a decent sideboard card in draft or sealed. I'll update the wording to make It work mechanically.
Why does red need specific anti-flier answers as opposed to removal than is decent against pretty much anything, which it always has to begin with? Besides the fact you only have one other instant/sorcery mono-R removal so far (Spark Burst), that is. I mean, this could be Thunderbolt and still do mostly the same thing. Some variation of Vertigo (possibly hybrid
) is also an option.
