Added "attacking alone" clause, but still need to check whether this can become a runaway win for Protoss. It's frail enough that the two other decks can pretty much do something about it, and from experience casting this early won't be much help since Protoss is on the defensive.
Firebat is pretty good against this, isn't it? It seems fitting that sometimes a Dark Templar is able to get close to making you win all by itself. Terran will be able to burn it sometimes... what does Zerg do? Fight? -1/-1 effects?
Spawn Broodling, Parasite, Defiler, attack and hope it wins faster. Haha.
Ah yes, Parasite and Defiler are the kind of thing I was thinking of.
I was also thinking I didn't recall seeing any use of "fight" on Zerg cards. Presumably DDS1 predated the introduction of the term, but have you considered it for some Zerg cards in the revamp?
added creature type -> Protoss Assassin. :)

4/1 ->

3/2
Variance was too high for our liking; it's absolutely useless if you're even a little bit behind, and frustrating to play against if the Protoss has any kind of position. It's bad to just sort of sigh as your life total drops and drops without you being able to do anything about it.
Had marginally more success with a

3/2, plus more pleasing aesthetically when mirrored with High Templar's

.
Interesting: The number of colored mana in the mana cost roughly correlates with the vespene gas a unit needs. More colored mana = higher gas requirement.
