Whoa, 2/4? That's one heck of a solid card with lifelink too. Seraph of Dawn was perhaps the best common in its set, and this may well be better.
Perhaps (although the format likely has better removal). This could very well be the "reward card" for drafting white, which at the moment is Freezefeather, and cost 2WW. Actually, I like that idea. Will change.

One note: you can crosslink to other cards in the set by using (((triple round brackets))), and create links to official Wizards cards using [[[triple square brackets]]]. For example, Freezefeather.
