I don't really want both White rares to be a city. And blegh; cities aren't a thing if they're just a rare cycle. Gotta rethink.
Random mash says Indomitable Archangel My white mythic slot is already taken, but I can probably find a rare-alike.
The equivalent of metal in this set is land.
So.. lands you control have hexproof? That works two nicely ways: It's a set-hoser safety valve if my land destruction is too good, and it sets up the cities as a bit more viable.
Could just straight up use burned-land as a trigger. But that's self defeating (I can protect my lands.. after I've lost a load. Oh.)
I think it's a (usually) small enough ability to just flat out need no triggering clause. And if someone wants to use it as part of a doom-combo with animating their lands - well, great.
Flavour text was uninspiring "They may not be our lands, but regardless; we shall never let them go." so what the heck, flip it out for a football joke instead.
Needs a name; I never realised before that "Indomitable" was a mega-vertical.
"Indomitable" was a what?
I have no certainty what I was referring to then, but I think:
Gatherer finds three 'Indomitable' cards'; Indomitable Will, Indomitable Ancients and Indomitable Archangel.
Three rarities, spanning multiple sets - all white defence stuff.
