Um, ok, breaks even at 4 mana and goes somewhat insane at 6+?
And that's before you break out the ways to add more counters.
But I like it, a personal doubling season.
4/4 for , 6/6 for and 8/8 for are all, scarily, on the modern power curve for rares. (Deadbridge Goliath, Terra Stomper; the new Arbor Colossus is a 6/6 for .)
Admittedly normally X spells are a bit less efficient that the fixed-price equivalents. But... yeah, I could see Wizards printing this.
