Power level drastically reduced from previous Colossus. Ability changed from "good with weenies" to cliff walk. Meant to reduce intuitive complexity, too many people asking why Colossus does not have thermal lance or wtf it's doing gaining life.
"~ is unblockable" -> "this is unblockable"
is it just me or is there no pictures
Technically landwalk can only refer to sub- and supertypes of lands, not their state, but I really like this card.
@Visitor: Yeah, this one doesn't have a nice render, because noyahuid has changed it slightly since the last time he uploaded pictures, I think.
There you go. Back to "good with weenies", Protoss hard counter to Zerglings, similar to the Terran Firebat.
4/4 -> 3/4
Such flavor!
3/4 -> 3/3
4ww -? 5w
Colossus (4WW, 3/4, Whenever Colossus blocks, it deals 1 damage to each attacking creature. Whenever Colossus becomes blocked, it deals 1 damage to each blocking creature.) -> Disruptor. Colossus arrives too late for a defensive creature; always disappointed to play a 6-mana creature that wasn't a finisher. Same role, slightly weaker at cheaper mana cost
Before:
Disruptor
Artifact Creature - Protoss [u]
Whenever Disruptor deals combat damage to a creature, it deals 1 damage to each other attacking or blocking creature controlled by the same player.
2/2
Disruptor -> Colossus. Better art plus more flexible (early game spell or late game creature.)
ability 2W -> 1W, removed ability to hit blocking creatures
I like the current card. Rewards a fatty later on, but you can trade it off early for some neat defense tech.
1W -> 2W. 1W too competitive
4/5 -> 3/6, unliblock. Needed as stabilizer
