that fucking typeline lmao
Apparently land creatures cannot have mana costs... Also, they aren't spells, so kicker can never be paid... I'll have to slightly find a way to make this work, I guess.
I believe this functions now. It's also fairly balanced, I think. In practice, it's a dual tapland, which is balanced (see Timber Gorge). If you pay a whopping SEVEN MANA, you get an Overrun like effect, and get to treat this as Taiga instead (not busted when you're paying 7 for 1 back, unless you swing for that sweet sweet 4 dmg)
All-in-all, happy with this fix. Though if anyone see's problems with it, i'm listening.
I think this would be a lot better if it was an activated ability.
like this:

: untap all lands you control, they get +3/+3 and gain haste and trample until end of turn.
it makes it less clunky weird design, and also means that u play a 1/1 dual land and late game can cash in your mana for a big swing. WOTC seems to print that stuff often, I think it would be a great change. Up to you, but one time enters the battlefield trigger feels weird imo. love the card though, just think it would be much more like actual cards if it was activated?
took wurms good idea.
Is the activated ability supposed to turn all your lands into creatures, or just saying that they get +3/+3 meant for the ones that are also creatures and you skipped specifying as a way to cut out words?
Yes, it would take a lot of words to also turn them into creatures. So this does skip over lands that aren't already creatures. Kind of means it doesn't do anything besides be a tapland in non-awaken decks... This set's been designed in a vacuum though. Which isn't boring, considering how large it will be, there will likely be one or more archetypes for every color pair... Also, it will probably be around the same size as a standard card-pool. This is 20% done or less and its already 200 cards. This set will surely reach 500 cards, and could possibly hit 1000, though likely will finish somewhere in the middle.
But, then again, would most people want to always have the threat of this card overrunning them on turn 7 (or turn 4, since this is
, who can easily get the mana for it, and the lands out for it to be effective)? I mean, sure, if you have land destruction for this, it's avoidable... until your opponent plays it again from their graveyard with Crucible of Worlds or Eternal Witness/Life from the Loam/Restore/etc. Or hell, this doesn't need to tap, so anyone can just tutor it and play it the turn they are ready to swing for lethal even though their lands have a cumulative 0 power.
This is probably best if it only works in this specific archetype, methinks.
Would definitely be too strong for this set, there is some land removal and discard, but the real way to answer this is to win before turn 7. There ain't no Armageddon here, yet.
yes, but we do have Devastation Rain :p
