What does it do?

It pretends you are playing yugioh :)

(Not saying you copied it. It's a very natural design to create in parallel.)

I checked with the search function for actual designs named Pot of Greed, but did not check for similar artifacts like Conclusive Evidence (but then again the text apparently doesn't use ~ for the cardname, so I wouldn't have found it anyway :) ).

I intentionally went for the {2}/{3} cost over the {3}/{2} to allow this to be cast and then sacrificed on-curve to improve some hands lacking e. g. a color quickly.

Yugioh has some terribly over-engineered, but flavorful cards. This one is quite straight-forward though, so no surprise Courier's Capsule already existed, though I totally didn't have it on the radar at first. Without such reference I might have guessed a cost of {2}/{2} i. e. the cost to sacrifice two Clues.
