"Desert Swamp"?

Lol. Anyway, I like how the Deserts let you swap out your lands when you're feeling mana screwed. It's a really useful ability, and goes great with Landfall cards like Jaddi Offshoot or the "Retreat To" cycle.

Thanks for the comments. The reason these have basic land types is that "land tribal" is a planned mechanical theme of the set, so for now I will go and use more land types than usual and later consider whether and where I should cut them again.

It's not yet a fixed feature.

Not a fan of this having a basic land type. Well, I am as a player, but not as a designer. Being able to swap it for other lands is sweet.
