(art) Annoyingly the long ears ean most of the art of namingway stretches to show nothing but ears
(art)
It's a good enough card, but the flavor text makes me want something like
'Counter all spells with a single target' or since you prefer to word it this way, maybe it would be, 'All spells with a single target are countered.'
Should probably be uncommon or rare either way. (or not sense unsets are power)
(art)
(art - amused that this shot makes it look like the caster is the victim of the effect)
Maybe it should cost instead of XXXX
Maybe it should cost instead of XXXX
Amusingly; this art then makes this a social commentary card about the foreign exchange price-fixing 'scandal' (can business-as-usual really be a scandal?)
Wanted an olde worlde jug of booze. Closest art I could fine: forex.
since the name got figured out; art
They would indeed have to. It's why I didn't need to put any "If they cannot" punishment to it.
You're right about how nasty this is. If you can't deal with world enchantments, you're doomed. But of course, if this was in the environment, you'd just run a world enchantment or two of your own so as to be able to deal with it.
Yeah; I really like the name for this one. I think it's the one that made me decide to expand it to a cycle. There's nothing special about the ordering of the cycle, just arbitrary. I just wanted it to walk from one type to the next. Planeswalkers aren't a thing (la la la I can't hear you) so these are all the permanents.
Oh that's a really good reference actually.
I'm wondering why you chose this order, and why these permanent types?
I'm just wondering if when this triggers, if they have no other creatures do they have to sacrifice the one they just played?
If so, I'd recommend adding a clause if they have one or more other creatures, so they can always have one to trade off.. maybe even make it two to not destroy comboes and to make it a game of one creature.
This would be nuts in a deck where you play only cards with death effects and then just bank and bank and bank again (who cares about the life loss, there's probs cards to negate it.)
i love this, very cool. also i'll be commenting on the cycle as well.
(rarity, casting cost, art, beg for attention)

Sacrifice does have the advantage of not having to keep putting more counters on it. And also makes it more interactive - an opponent might try to provoke you into using it, rather than just waiting it out.
Androidkiller: [09:48] Having got these cards from these two drafts I may want to try and build a proliferate deck
Good plan!
XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD As an aside, I'm reminded of my own First Generation Hipster.
Re: Armies of Nature
Thanks for the name Clive. Now just need to work out what this should do :)
But I wanted to draw a card! That's what is for!
i don't get the name.
Also is 3 for a 4/4 really that good? I mean, we just got spoiled a for a 7/6 with a possible-upside downside... (I do think that card is OP for the record, but this seems very underpowered even ignoring that card)
I actually like the idea of making this a static effect, it's better than anything more complicated than it needs to be.
Related to Poth, Insidious Infiltrator I was trying to think of part-losing-the-game.
And here we go - a quarter of your life is gone. Not by losing and then regaining; but just as a state effect - you have less than it looks like you do. So gift this and form of the dragon as an instant win :)
Or, you know, use it as a traditional cheap-big-threat-with-downside black card.
(And this can be a cycle of 4 un-cards with the obvious name variations)
Yeah, I wanted to cost it Half-R and 1½ but I don't seem to be able to.
Overcost.
Where do I draw from if I choose the axis that puts the library upright? Free choice? All of them at once? After all they are all equally "top of the library".
