Yes, I rather like this. Looks fun, playable, but not overpowered. The only oddity is that you can use black mana for damage prevention-and-redirection. If that's any colour other than white it's red (Mirrorwood Treefolk, Captain's Maneuver, Mogg Maniac, Boros Reckoner etc). I appreciate this is a set where artifacts are affiliated with
and not red, but could the activation here be monowhite? Or perhaps

Pricey to activate. Kinda like a weak stuffy doll; but this can wipe out creatures too. So more like a .. darn it... Zealous Inquisitor (I always want to say 'imperator') - costs a little less to cast, costs a little more to activate on the low end, but a bit more efficient on the high end...
Yeah; I can see it. Also that one point of extra power may be telling in the "I gotta block this" stakes. Means they need to find a 0/4 rather than a 0/3

Eh, it's kinda a card that ought to exist.
Not often you'll want it, you won't usually run it - but some people will find a use for it and some new players will love throwing together all their bigass red and blue greatures into their green deck and then just ramping into them.
Could plausibly be slightly cheaper; but that loses the simplistic clarity of this version.
That's... quite a 1-for-2. It lets you bypass coloured mana requirements, I guess (throw down a Maelstrom Archangel in a mono-green deck)... but you can use Dramatic Entrance or Elvish Piper for that anyway. What's the benefit of this? Are there lots of Gelectrode-style triggers in the set?
Should I make some colorless Thrulls? actually colorless Spirits are more likely.
