This is a bananas card. In almost every case, this is a one mana kill spell with no downside. Compare Fatal Push, a card with a fairly large downside, that still sees a lot of play, and this is in my opinion strictly better, especially at instant speed. Maybe if this was a 2 mana instant, as an alternative to Go For The Throat?
Mmmm, this is the kind of card that ends up in a set when they go "Oh, whoops. We kind of didn't spot that the previous set made life gain absolutely dominant and it wrecked the meta. Hose it. Hard. Which then, of course, puts this card into the sideboard."
Though I also kind of want it to be part of a strategy of its own where you give the opponent a lot of life in exchange for getting other stuff cheaper.
