> "Because of the way layers work you can't have a continuous ability that checks things deeper in the layers to grant something in a previous layer. Which means you can't check p/t to grant an ability unless it checks only at a specific time like a trigger or activated ability. The game can't "go back" and grant an ability after checking the p/t."

Additional Booster #3
After Wandering Thornmaw and Ranging Thornmaw, why not? Another non-Lizard Beast for the collection.
Additional Booster #2
Additional Booster #2
Not feeling confident about my ability to design big dumb beaters.
reduced number of exiled cards t two
Additional Booster #2
Scavenge pay-off. Possibly rare?
Additional Booster #2
Top-down double-match fight/bite. I value punching/biting over fight in this set due to the high-power/low-toughness creatures the high-power theme favors.
This is a design I actually expect to see coming, maybe using actual fight.
was:"When ~ enters the battlefield, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature an opponent controls."
Additional Booster #2
So,what does the color pie say to biting green creatures nowadays? I'm not certain I'm still in the loop.
Additional Booster #2
Primitive technology top-down.
Additional Booster #2
For the scavenge theme.
Additional Booster #2
Forcing myself to make feral cards to pay lip-service to the seed cards...
Hexproof + Auras might make for a neat pay-off on maintaining feral at least.
