Or make this an align card rather than a collaborate card:
> As ~ enters the battlefield, choose a creature type. ~ enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it for each card with the chosen type in your graveyard.
Um, worse than that. A single changeling in the graveyard immediately makes this 239/239
So yeah. Given the existence of changeling tech; this needs a rethink. Maybe somehow allow each creature card to only count one of its types? That's still pretty good; but not unprintably ridiculous.
But if it makes Saprolings it helps with collaborate! o.o
Are Saprolings really part of your concept here? If not, then Fungus tokens migth be the way to go - you could even have this produce the black tokens which would be a neat mix-up from how it would usually work.
It's here that I come to a crossroads. There is a black fungus themed spell that creates a 1/1 black fungus. Do I unify the tokens and make all the tokens saprolings, all fungus, or a combination of both?
If this changes to Fungus tokens it becomes a 1 card align enabler.
Retrace as a graveyard effect belongs after the main effect.
Green saproling is now black fungus
Oh that works better with fungus. I'll want to keep the collaborate friendly wording for another card though.

Added the word printed to bypass changelings. Does it work in rules terms? Not certain yet.

Nope, a single Woodland Changeling breaks this into Tarmogoyf.

Ah, yes, the face-card of the set. Good to see it return. :)

Old version was all graveyards
I think that safety valve might have been wordy. Either shorten it somehow or remove it.
