really, this isn;t burn, it's Draining.... im sure it isnt too off-pie, what with white vampires being so new, im sure this could work... and i doubt this is op..
you pay 1 to drain 1, and thats nothing compared tocards like chaplains blessing, 1 for 5 life... over all im fond of it, so i might leave it.... thanks tho, i kknow now drain isnt mono-white... t
okay i like that. Why did you lower the mana amount tho? The reason of easily breakable and too controllable doesnt mean its plain OP, if it please tell me but until i can be sure Im gonna keep it att bb or rr

White doesn't get the unrestricted burn part. This would fit a black Vampire, but even then the ability to ping creatures makes this too powerful at common.
yes definitely tap.... scry is card shifting, and yes its supposed to be good, not broken, but very good...

Also, time consuming. But yeah, this should probably tap. And it'd still be deceptively powerful.
You underestimate how powerful scry is especially in numbers greater than 1 or repeatable.
I like the image of white-aligned Vampires trying to be leukocytes. And apparently going auto-immune on their world.

This is easily broken. You have far too much control about the trigger condition and easily find a card that lets you pay life multiple times a turn.
Best case you could check for the first time you lose/pay life each turn. This would make the timing awakward, but you could have:
"Whenever you lose lose/pay life the first time since the beginning of your most recent turn, put a blood counter on ~.
Remove a blood counter from ~: Add
or
to your mana pool."
This would allow for a controled outlet of mana. Would also fit better with the name since "investment" has a connotation of "longterm".
heh its a reprint from Camadoon, i was weeird back then xD
Great name. Don't see where the first part is in the card, since you get the rot no matter what.
