I think the original peculiar distortion is still the most dramatic example, by which I mean one where the two effects are most obviously appropriate for the colour, and the combined effect is most obviously not.

It's being slightly undermined by Wizards basically removing P/T switching, or at least declining to print any for years. Peculiar Righteousness at least occasionally gets a Humble the Brute. Peculiar Savagery might have a claim to being the most currently obviously wrong.
