Would be part of either a 5-land or 10-land cycle.

Wow. Lands that can upgrade themselves to make 2 mana. That seems extremely strong. I might well play this rather than Selesnya Sanctuary. It's also arguable that the non-green pairings shouldn't get this, as it functions as ramp: t1 Plains, t2 this & develop, t3 you have 4 mana.

Oh, that's a fair point. It just looked sad when it only produced {g} OR {w}.

Upped the develop cost. Now requires same mana commitment as Selesnya Cluestone and friends.

I don't know what I'm talking about with my edit comment. What I meant was that it now requires 3 mana to ramp, at which point all colors gain access to artifact ramp anyway.

As Jack commented on Sculpture Park, maybe this could produce only one mana, with a Develop cost of just {M}, and be moved to common or uncommon.

As it stands right now, I've got this potential cycle at rare, Fabricated Channel at common, and Sculpture Park at uncommon. I wonder how these would play and to what kind of set they might belong.
