This set is designed to be played as a cube.

It is intended to be an expert level set, so keywords are used without reminder text and with abandon, including mixing keywords from across the entire history of M:tG.

Individual cards are intended to be fairly straightforward, with interaction and synergy offering the bulk of the complexity.

As much information on a card as possible is intended to be relevant. There are enough cards that reference colour, rarity, sub-types, types and super-types, mana costs etc. that even a seemingly near vanilla card should offer a number of useful interactions external to its obvious abilities.

Following the above, every creature has at least one creature type relevant to another card, as do many noncreature cards.
